Do you like art? If so, what kind of art? If we think about it, we all like art in some shape or form. For some, art is a beautiful oil painting on canvas. To another, art is expressed through dance, while to another, it is expressed through one's fingers as one molds and shapes new objects made with clay. Did you know that written text can also be art? I would like all of you to be artists with the freedom to express yourselves in any way that you would like.
Every Monday morning, I will post a topic on my blog, which you are reading these instructions from. Once you have read my topic, you will need to leave a comment on my page. However, this "comment" should be more than one sentence. It should be your response to the question I am posting on my blog. I would really like to encourage you all to try to write as much as you can. Although I would like for you to write as much as you can, please do not spend more than 30 minutes writing them. If you read a comment from your classmates that you find to be interesting, feel free to comment to them as well! Lets try to make this as interactive via the Internet as possible. Your responses and comments will need to be completed by 8:00 p.m. every Friday. There will be no exception! Therefore, plan on completing this assignment before the Friday deadline in order to ensure that you receive full credit, which will be 10 points for each week.
On a final note, these blogs are intended to be fun and to allow you to further practice writing in English in a variety of avenues. Be adventurous and express yourselves! Although I am primarily looking a lot at the content, I will also be looking upon your grammar as well. Aim for grammatical accuracy. Topic 6: Flying
What would happen if you could fly whenever you wanted? When would you use this ability?
I'm dreaming about flying every time and, I wish that I have very strong wings that could take me everywhere without making me exhausted. If I had these wings, I would certainly visit all the beautiful places around the world. Also, I like to be a unique person so if I had these wings I would fly front of people and do moves that approaching their smiles and happiness. In addition, I would visit my family and see my lovely parents without suffering from the flight ticket or the far distance. Actually, after seeing the movie Maleficent, I liked being with wings. I know that it is something impossible, but it is possible to dream.
I think this topic is for kids, not for the grown-up people like me. I am not a person who is full of imagination like kids. Whatever, if I could fly, I will be an athlete in snowboarding, and I will participate in a winter Olympic as a Korean representative. I would rotate twenty times over in midair while jumping, and a golden medal finally would be mine. Many advertisement agents would offer me to take pictures with a lot of money, and I would be a rich person. :)
I don't agree with you in two points. First, this is not a topic for kids; otherwise, the teacher would not assign it for us as adults. Secondly, you said that you are not full of imagination, but from your answer I assume that you have very brilliant and beautiful imagination. I would love to use the ability to fly. If I had this ability, I could go to many places for free. My dream is to visit many countries. However, going to foreign countries costs a lot of money. When I came to California, I had to buy a plane ticket which cost super expensive. Also, when I took an air plane, many people were packed in one place, and I felt uncomfortable. If I could fly by myself, I wouldnt have to care about other people and could go anywhere freely. Going somewhere is always troublesome. If you do road trip, you have to think about traffic, gas, and etc. In addition, there are a lot of accidents related to cars or airplanes. Flying with wings does not seem to be that troublesome. In addition, flying is like a story from a video game. When I play videos games, I always wish I could fly like game characters. So I would absolutely love to have this ability!
If I could get the ability of being able to fly to anywhere, I would have trip right. Until now, I want to go to Europe because I have never been there. Especially, the country I want to go at first is Spain which is popular with soccer. Now, in Spanish league there are the best players who are L. Messi and C. Ronaldo. I want to watch the match personally in the stadium. And then, I will go to Iguazu Falls in Brazil. In this summer vacation, I went to Niagara Falls. At that time, I was very impressed because I experienced to take ferry to the Falls, so I decided to go to other falls. If I can have much time and enough money, I really want to visit these two places right now.
When i was a kid, i always wondered if i could fly, it would be amazing. If i could fly i can go wherever i want to go, for example, i am in the United States now, i can go back to China right now with the flying ability. I may use this ability to help people, not like the heroes in the movie, but i can do something more reality. The biggest reason i want to fly is that i can feel free, however, i am worried that if i could fly, i can not tell almost anyone. Because it is a special ability for normal people. I do not want to be shutted away for research. Anyway, if icould fly, it would be awesome.
Everything would be so different if I could fly every time I wanted to. I will be flying in my daily life, for example I will not drive and get stuck in a traffic, but I will fly to the place I want to go to, also I will not be bored on the weekends, because I can go visit any nearby city and explore it. Further more if I can fly in a very high speed, like an airplane, I will go visit my country in any holiday, and I will take a tour around the whole world.
Birds never need to worry about no road to go and bad traffic, because they can fly to wherever they want to. Until now I still dream to fly in the blue sky, since I can enjoy the blue sky and see the city in the high. If one day I have this magical ability, I will visit and play with birds in the sky. When I make friends with them, I can learn more about their life and ask them to guild me to beautiful natural places in the world. Furthermore, if I can fly, I do not need to worry about visa and expensive airplane tickets.

First of all, I would like to go to the highest mountain in the world, to take a moment alone with myself and to think about all the thing that I've done in my life so far. If I could fly I would be free, I could travel to any country I wanted without care about expensive flight and all the policies that are related to international travels. I also would like to pretend to be an angel, and then, I could take care of all the people that I love. However, I would not be able to take care of everybody at the same time, so I would like to clone myself as well.
If I have an ability of flying, there are some advantage of that. First, I can reduce much time to go somewhere. Then I can sleep more than before, and I will be composure. However, I think I will use this ability when I go to school or market ,somewhere not so far. If I go other country with this ability, I will be so cold and scared or lonely. Second, I can go to meet my boyfriend in army. I can't meet him so frequently because they are so strict. If I fly to his army, I can see him and just run away :p
If I can fly, I will try to protect my country from the terrorists who are coming from other countries. If I can fly, I will be a cause in serving for many families who escaped from their home. I will be like the spider man, the iron man,or the super man, but I will make my clothes from the Iraqi flag. If I can fly, I will take my daughter to my mom because she loves her very much. I will see my father, my brothers, and my sisters. If I can fly, I will visit interesting places in the world. I would to take a picture on the Eiffel tower, the Pyramids, and the Burj Khalifa in UAE. ALI AL-ATTABI
